About scottszenasi@gmail.com

I am a husband and a father. I am a somewhat conservative independent. I am a Christian. I am an American. I work a normal job and like to coach my sons’ t-ball, baseball, and soccer teams. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from high school in 1987. I have lived in Germany and Russia. I met my wife in Washington, D.C., and we now live in Huntsville, Ala., with our three sons. I have degrees from Baylor University and The George Washington University.

Hungarians in America

I am a third generation American of Hungarian descent. The Szenasi Family emigrated from Hungary in the 1890s and settled in Texas. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. My paternal grandfather was full Hungarian, and I am one quarter Hungarian.

Here are my grandparents, Nona and Joe Szenasi. Joe’s parents both immigrated from Hungary. (Nona is Scotch-Irish.)

They had three sons: (l-r) Phil (oldest), Jim (youngest), and Fred (middle).

Fred married Sharyl Sadler of Cabery, Illinois. These are my parents. I am the middle child. I have an older brother and a younger sister.
